Clicking noise & Heater issues

Hi
I am wondering if anyone has ever experienced an intermittent clicking noise in the dash which seems as though it's from the drivers side, after a few weeks the clicking stopped but air vents would not blow hot air just luke warm, I had it flushed and new thermostat fitted today the heater worked for 2 small trips but the clicking came back (after I drove it away from the garage) now the clicking has stopped again and the blowers are no longer blowing hot air any advice would be much appreciated
