Bonnet catch

Hello, my Mk7 Zetec S has a sticking bonnet catch. No surprises there then but I have been told this part has now been redesigned.
Does anyone know if this is just for the face lift version, or will it fit my 10 plate?

Do you have trouble closing the bonnet as well?
Mine sticks when opening and it does not shut properly.

I bought a new one from fordpartsuk.com works like a dream
The old one wasn't closing, then after I un-assembled it and lubed it broke the sensor. New one is great.

I bought this for 2008-2011 model. The old one looked nothing like this.
