2013 ford fiesta whing noise on reverse

i have a 2013 ecoboost fiesta and having issues in reverse. when reversing up a slope I get a whining noise from the engine and looked on internet and theres lots of people with same issue but no solutions. it has been back to ford and had a master cylinder , new clutch. hill assit turned off ... but after a Cpl of days the noise returns, does anyone else have this issue on there 2013 model as it seems to be only on the first ecoboost release.

Is reverse on most cars usually more noisy? Ought to hear our Mk5s...but I'm aware their reverse gears are much more straight cut..eg less "bevel"..and I wonder if it's just the engineering quirk?
