search albums or songs, line/aux in

Hey,

just a quick one,

ok so, the phone menu. when your phone is connected you can access your call menus and phonebooks on the stereo, easy and great. you can search through the phonebook by entering letters on the keypad on the stereo and it'll take you to that letter page in you phonebook, again easy.

but....

when i connect my iPhone to the stereo via the built in USB port, @ AUX. when i go to albums or songs i have to physically scroll through my hundreds of songs and albums until i reach the desired track or song.

why can't or how can you search through using the letters on the keypad that is on the stereo the same way it would when using the phone menu. its not so good considering i have over 600 albums on my phone and scrolling through them is loooong!!

any ideas anyone or know how to do it?

You can just type the numbers not letters unfortunately so you'll have to know the track number. I just connect though bluetooth and select from the phone

When playing through my USB memory key. If I press the left arrow I get a list of the folders. Then can navigate up and down from there.
