Missing Breather?

Post by trecoll »

Hi,

I have a 1.6 TDCi (90 PS model) and I was topping up the screen wash earlier this week when I noticed that on the bottom of my airbox, I appear to be missing a breather pipe?

My first derv, so it could just be me being silly!

I have had a good look around but couldn't find anything...

Its on the bottom of the airbox. Where my old car (1.7 (puma'd) Mk4) had its crankcase breather pipe going to.

There should be a pipe coming from the centre forward of where the spark plugs are. That's where mine comes from

It's a diesel its for the Vacum on the brakes diesel engines can't get it from the inlet need a pump

Petrol cars feed from the air box through press etc!

So it's basically as it shud be!!
500mile+ to a tank £20 tax and a right laugh to drive what more do u need!
