Aux

Hi all,
May be a silly question but I have a 58 plate zs and the aux port is there but when I click on the aux button nothing happens. I used to have a style before and when I clicked aux button it would take it to a different screen.
I have tried a few different wires to make sure it's not the cable. Ruled that out its defiantly the car lol!
Wondering whether anyone has had this problem before and knows how to resolve it before I take it to ford?
