I fitted a Pipercross to mine after having tha car a couple of weeks. As you would expect, you can't feel any increase in power, but the car does feel smoother, and the computer indicates mpg is up by 2-3

I would get one but apparently you have to clean the filter with some k&n stuff, this I think..

but obviously you have to leave it to dry meaning you cant use the car while its drying yeah?

I put a Pipercross panel filter on mine. Didnt notice any noise or performance increase straight away but now u can definatly hear the suck as u push the pedal an it feels more responsive. I got it from Rudie Mods in South Woodham

I have the K & N Panel. Makes a nice little sucky noise when you put the throttle on, and gives off a little whistle while in high revs.
As for performance and economy, i havent noticed any difference lol

to be honest, adding just a panel filter will give you no gains atall.
it does sound a bit better, but thats really it.
i have a pipercross panel filter on mine with a samco induction hose ( only bought them because they were cheap £48 for them both new)
once i have got my mountune upgrade fitted i will add the j1 induction kit and get it mapped.
