Mondeo Sunglasses Holder
Bought this off eBay for £9.99
Don't have any decent scrappys near me
Prise light out.. Spring catch at the front keeps it in
Unplug light.. Unscrew 2 torx screws
Pull out original trim.. Back to front
Mark out the size of the new hole.. Measure twice and cut once lol
Cut out the new hole.. I used a stanley knife.. Ensure blade is sharp
And remove metal surround
The black part on the back of the sunglasses holder unclips off the grey part
Remove the black part.. 4 clips.. And put this in roof lining
Plug microphone back in.. If you have one
Make sure wires for light are accessible
Clip in new trim.. Clip front in then back
Plug light back in and replace
Insert sunglasses
Sit back and appreciate

Re: Mondeo Sunglasses Holder
Looking at doing this next weekend.
But a bit clueless when it comes to the lights with the map reading lights aswell, are there different wires or whatever that i'll need to add/wire to somewhere for them to work aswell, or is it all incorporated into the main light?

Theres two plugs on the standard light unit which just go straight on to the unit with map lights, these power all the lights.Seans_Fes_Mk7 wrote:Looking at doing this next weekend.

Re: Mondeo Sunglasses Holder
Brilliant, thanks alot
I'm dreading cutting the roof liner apart though Don't even want to consider messing up and then putting up with a huge hole in the liner until i get a probably very expensive new one!!
