Hey all, posted a couple of pictures a while ago but thought id now start a progress thread and things are moving along faster now.

Got the car back in June, couldn’t afford the insurance on the ZS so I just got the 1.2 model also I wanted a brand new car another reason I couldn’t afford the ZS. Open to all further ideas for the car and im looking to continue to add to it.

Got the car from the garage and got the alloys put on and coloured black, the roof and mirrors also wrapped

Also bought the DMB gel overlays but don’t have a picture, got the gloss black with red writing for my alloys, then bought the special edition carbon ones with red writing for my front, rear and steering wheel.

Nice ride Stu, was considering getting my ZS in red but decided otherwise, went for the panther ;) as for not getting a ZS, you can pick up the rear diffuser, side skirts, front bumper and spoiler (which i see you have already) easilly from ebay for example, as i am sure you are aware.

may i ask how you fitted your red footwell lights also please as really want to get these in my ZS.

Cheers mate :)

Hey mate yea that's what I'm trying to do is bit by bit collect the ZS kit so it looks like the full sport.

As for the lights I got red led strip lights from halfords that plug into your cigarette lighter socket, I then bought an extension that plugs into the lighter port and now sits under my seat and gives me 4 spaces to plug things in. I just run the wires from the foot wells under the radio trim to the box under my seat. If you need any more info just give me a shout man :)

Cheers

Lose the air filter, its going to give ou massive amounts of heat soak and you're going to lose power

Wasent sure, tho you can definitely feel the deference at low revs as it dose accelerate faster compared to the standard air box. I do have a worry about hear soak during the summer months but I've positioned it so it has a direct air feed onto it to try get the cold air back into the engine.

Nice car, I've got the same model and colour, I'm hoping to do some of the same upgrades!

Just wondering what size your alloys are?
