I have purchased a 2010 April registered 1.4tdci titanium.
It has the usual 16" alloys, however upon checking the boot there is a spare 16" wheel exactly the same which is just thrown in the boot, it's not secured in anyway.
Is it usual that this model would have a full size spare as standard? I've seen others mention about spare space saver or tyre kit.
My car gas the tyre inflator kit in the boot with a jack with is also just laying in the boot.
Am I missing a normal space saver, and foam insert or am I just missing a securing pin for the 16" wheel?
I can't find any pictures of titanium boots showing how the spare wheel is arranged.
Any help would be appreciated
Simon

Re: Titanium spare wheel not fixed
When i bought my ZS it had an inflation kit, but the dealer swapped it for a full size spare, however i have a plastic securing thing but no foam insert. I don't think they had spacesavers.

No the Titaniums came with the Tyre Mobility System as standard with a space saver tyre being an optional extra. However, a full sized spare was never advertised or on the option list (dug out my old 2009 & 2011 brochures). There are securing pins available from Ford (don't know the FINNIS number I'm afraid) but this wouldn't be suitable for a full sized spare. Might find something on eBay though as I'm pretty sure the hire car I had in Italy had a full sized 16" spare wheel in the boot!
