Interior door handles, help required

Interior door handles, help required

Hi there folks in mk7 land

I just purchased a full set of silver metallic interior door handles, I know a lot of people on here don't like them but since I can no longer fit my lovely shiny black Sony DAB stereo, I have to go with the silver on black interior colour scheme. Plus I think they look good so there :-)

Anyway my question is do I have to take off the door cards to fit these handles or do they just swap over easily enough with out ripping the interior apart ? Has anyone done this before ? And how difficult was it to do ?

Any help would really be appreciated, thanks in advance

The door card does not need to come off,Behind the handle is a small cover which you pull off with a screwdriver which then you can see a torx screw, remove the screw then work your way round and remive with a thin screwdriver the small housing holding the tweeter and handle and unclip it from the door card. thats about as far as I can help
