Does anyone know the history of this car ?

Im actively looking to buy an 17 plate ST3 and have looked at a few locally as a replacement for my daughter's 1.0L Zetec

I wonder if anyone knows anything about this car BW17 NSE in molten orange.

I ask because when I opened the bonnet I found several deep scratches on the outside face of the LH bonnet hinge and the orange paint has come off the bolt at the top of the LH wing near the windscreen. RH bolt is as new. Makes me wonder whether its had the LH front wing off or repositioned for some reason. Cant see any paint defect / differences and the door shut lines look OK to me.

Dealer had no explanantion for these findings.
