HELP!! Lost keyless fob.

My wife returned home from work last night in her keyless entry Mark 7 Fiesta.

She had the key fob in the centre drinks holder and when exiting the car managed to pick it up and instantly drop it somewhere in the middle of the car. We have spent 1.5 hrs going through the car looking for it. Under the seats, under the mats, every conceivable nook and cranny but nothing.

Problem is, the fob is definitely in the car as the car starts and can be driven! Our spare key fob is needed to lock it.

Does anyone have any idea where it could be hidden? Is there an exploded diagram for showing possible areas where it could innocently fall? I am at my wits end...

Hi im new to a fiesta but on the focus (New Shape) there is a little flap in the carpet which when lifted shows the VIN. I'm not sure if there is one on the fiesta but worth a try, its just by the drivers seat door side

We managed to locate it and it was very well hidden under the plastic surround housing the handbrake. Thank goodness!
