Side repeater bulbs

Hi

I've just got a new ST and was de tangoing when I came across a problem with mirror side repeaters. I put my two silver bulbs in and pressed the hazard light and nothing. So I put the standard ford bulbs in and nothing. I know they both worked before I started and I have checked the circuit with a multimeter and checked fuses but still everything's fine just the bulbs will not flash. Both front and rear indicators flash just the ones on the mirrors do not work.

Anybody able to suggest anything which may help. As I don't really want to take my car back to ford.

stupid question but have you tried switching the way you put it in? (rotate the bulb 180')
