filler cap to diesel fiesta 2011 zetec s

I want to put an additive in the tank , but i have the fORD SYSTEM THAT WILL ONLY ALLOW a diesel fuel pump nozzle to enter the tank -how do i get around it anyone; More especialy if i ever need to use a can to top up the tank , how do i do it---will i have to push it to a pump ?

Check the boot, emergency kit for a pipe that is used for emergency fill up should you run out of fuel.
