Spare Wheel Kit for a Fiesta Mk7

Post by beekay »

Hi All and Hello . This is my first post so hope you all bear with me.
I have a 5 door 1.25 Zetec petrol , bluetooth model. Tyre size is 195/50 R15 82H
I have the tyre inflator kit but I would prefer a Spare tyre kit which seems very expensive (one on E bay is £200 with postage )
Has any one experience of aquiring one cheaper? or could I use a spare from an older car Mk6 for example.
TIA
Brian

That is a rediculous price. My ZS 16" are £125 per alloy, plus about £50/60 per tyre, and then you could easily get a jack from a scrappy for £10/15.

Alternatively any 4x108 pitch steely will do and then just find a jack separately

A steely or alloy off a Focus Mk1, Fiesta Mk5/Mk6/Mk7
Scrappys won't have the wheels on the car, you'd have to see what they've got
And a jack from a Ford

Haha that's not ideal! Other option is ringing all breakers yards within a (however many miles you're willing to travel) radius and seeing if they've got anything. But if you did have a bit more to spend, I'd suggest buying a full size alloy (with tyre) and then a jack separately.

Is this the wheel that's on your car?

Nah! close, looks the same, but the info on My tyre is 195/50 R15 82H
So i think it is a 15 size alloy. Off to morrow so may pay a visit to a few scrappys
Still, many thanks for your interest and advice
Regards
Brian
