Hi all,
I'm new
I'm looking to buy a MK7 from 2011 which is the Edge (1.25) model.
I don't think this model comes with DAB as standard but is the rooftop aerial DAB compatible? What I am looking to do is to replace the factory stereo with a Pioneer one which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These units support DAB and so it would be useful to have this available.
If the aerial isn't DAB compatible, how hard is it to replace? I've had bad experiences with the windscreen stick-on ones so I'd like to avoid those if possible.
While I'm here, I'm looking to have this Pioneer stereo fitted and I am looking at Halfords. Are they any good?
Thanks!

The standard aerial isn't dab compatible, you will need to fit one.
Halfords, well it depends on your store but best too visit a audio specialist.
