Mk7 fiesta Zetec passenger door

Hi all

This afternoon my wife opened up her door onto a concrete post and scratched and rolled up the black piece to the rear of the passenger window. Sorry to seem thick but what is this piece called? They used to be painted metal years go but on the fiesta it's seems like it's covered in a stick on material.

The only other way of putting it is it's the black piece above the door handle and goes from the bottom to the top of the window. For some reason I want to call it a pillar but not sure if that's correct
