Headlights.
I'm looking into getting an aftermarket HID kit for my car, i was reading up on it and they recommended buying (if not already fitted on) projector headlights. Is the Fiesta definitely projectors or just Reflectors?
Also, can anyone recommend a specific HID make + color temp.?
Personal opinions very appreciated.
Kind regards,
Sean.

Re: Headlights.
PS, have move topic to Modifications section.
From what i can tell on pics for the mk7 headlights, the dipped (normal driving around at night) beam is a projector style, and the main beam is just a reflector.
So you should be fine. The reason that you should use projector style headlights with hid kits is a normal reflector will scatter the beam everywhere.
As for what kit, i use a kit from eurocarparts, cant remember what make it is but its been fine so far.
Colour is up to you!

Re: Headlights.
Brilliant, i'll look into it.
I think 6000k as a hint of blue will look good imo, time will tell anyways.
Anyone know how easy/difficult it is to fit DRL's into the headlights?

Not all models have projector headlights, post a picture of your light and I'll tell you

Re: Headlights.
Ok must be co-incidence that every pic of a mk7 headlight was projector style!

Re: Headlights.
Also, does anyone know how to remove the headlight lenses? Planning on putting some DRL's inside the headlights.

Beware. You need washers and auto levelling to be legal. Illegal means no insurance, even if it's not your fault you could lose your car just because your insurer finds an excuse not to pay out.
