Think it all depends on the insurance company. When I got my ZS I rung my insurance to change the details of the car and they wanted £150 more to insure my ZS than my modified ST170, so that got canceled and im now with admiral and paying £350 full comp.

Yeah it was cheaper then my mk4 golf they quoted me 2k and that was with admiral it's weird that a brand new car was cheaper, I do have 6 points, 3 accidents and no no claims bonus though lol

I'm paying £395 fully comp for my 1.6 tdci titanium, had my license for 18 years but have 6 (speeding, tut tut) points & a 'shared responsibility' accident (put my bike head on into a car after finding a diesel spill on a bend), got full protected ncb too which helps!
