Removing Stereo Help

Hi
I have removed my stereo because i am toying with fitting a new one and needed to know which version i currently have. However i have followed all the instruction:
taking off the screen surround - Check
Undo the 2 screws and 2 bolts on top of button panel - Check
Remove secret compartment cover - Check
Pull button panel outwards and upwards - Check

However when pulling out the button panel i had a little black metal clip ping off and i cant see where to put it. So when i put the stereo back without it, the bottom (around the hazard button) doesnt want to stay secure or clip in.
Has anyone got any ideas? its really bugging me.

Its OK, i got it all sorted

I the black metal clip was one of the clips from around the vents, there are quite a few if you look properly and in daylight

Anyway i popped that back in and what i didnt realise is the secret compartment door is also part of what keeps the button panel secure, so once it was all back together its as good as new.

Just waiting for the new stereo to arrive and then i can start fitting it
