Mountune Short Throw Shifter

From what I have heard they are good.
All it is is a shorter length stick giving a shorter throw to the gear change. I would say worth it. I plan to get one myself

Mountune Short Throw Shifter

I got the ones from pumaspeed. (Same ones mountune supply) Pipercams have a better version but I was advised not to get them as would need some special map so it won't stall on idle. The fast road ones don't need a remap

Also with reference to the short shifter it will make the gear change heavier as the shorter lever has less leverage so a bit more force then normal is needed to change gears. So I have heard anyway but it makes sense

Depending on the weather & how much time I get I might be fitting mine tomorrow so I'll let you know.

Had mine fitted for a couple of months now, it's superb! Changes seem sharper and (so far) i haven't had any grinding when going into reverse, well worth the £170 (i got the gaiter & gearknob as well)
