Okay first my cars are all Fords.

Cortina Mk3 Est, 1972

Transit Mk7 Tourneo (Trend), 2011

Fiesta Mk7, 2017

American RV 2006 ( Built on a Ford F53 chassis running a 6.8lt Ford Triton V10)

Having loved the Ford brand now for years I do all my own repairs

Had the Cortina from new same as the Transit and just picked up this Fiesta.

I can be a moaning old git, but have lots of good advice to hand out as have worked on cars now for well over 40yrs and you tend to pick up a few things over the years....

I'm a member of the RV club and Cortina Mk3 Owners Club intact I'm the midlands rep. also a member of the 1-5 Cortina club.

I have joined here hoping to get a few answers about my new Fiesta

So you still have a '72 Cortina!

That must have been one of the very first ones built, didn't they just come out then?
