Voice command

Hi all, I have a 2010 Zetec s tdci.A problem developed yesterday that when I activate voice command it cant seem to "hear" me also when using the hands free I can hear the other person but they can't hear me.
I have tried disconnecting the battery and pulling various fuses with no luck.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!
