Interior light not working properly

Interior light not working properly

Hi
Fitted leds into interior light and empty footwell holders
Now the interior light isn't working on closing of doors or locking and the footwell lights aren't working so it seems, assuming there linked
Only way to turn it off interior is manually
Hope someone can help
