Aircon Gas amount?

Does anyone know how much gas should be in the system?? I can't seem to find the sticker on the car that says how much

Depending on what engine u have
1.6diesel 540g to 560
Rest 380 to 400g

Ahh right I have the 1.6 diesel and on the print out they only put in 475g where is the sticker located??

It's not lol ford told me wrong I did a lot of research to find it n cudnt n them found it on accident in the Haynes manual lol

Great so with nothing to say what the correct amount is I can hardly go back and complain

Yea it's cold, but they took out 590g and put 475g back in, suppose I could ask them why...

Yeah I'd ask and question it!
Why did u have it gased?
Cus air con services are a slight con cus the machine sucks the as out stores it then puts it back! Lol

Really just because it has never been re-gassed from new.

I have spoken to our Manager Kay, who suggested we arrange to see your vehicle again and rerun the air conditioning cycle, the system is fully automated but can on some occasions have difficulty identifying the gas amount, so will use a similar vehicle type.
If you could arrange for your vehicle to be returned to us or if you are based locally we could collect it for you?

Now I'm unsure what to do as if they over gas it that could cause damage

No I've bein on an air con course I'm a trained Hgv mechanic by trade and to blow the system u need to double the amount gas in the system! Ur allowed a 10% over full allowance on the gas weight anywho!
I put 550 in mine but took 450 out was cold but struggled on a hot day now its ok!
