James (jam_rs) was kind enough to invite me onto this forum, so thanks for that and hi to everyone.
I wasn’t actually aware that I had bought a mk7! All I know is there’s a lot more car there than my previous Fiesta (1.25 Zetec, 1999) which, unsurprisingly, came off second best in a motorway altercation with an LGV + its trailer.
The (new) car is a 2010 Titanium 1.25 (5-door, petrol, manual shift) Morello with rear spoiler.
So far, really happy with it although I have experienced one or two problems with the audio system (flash drive playback).
I’m not a car person at all (more of a cyclist) but for the little time I do drive I need to have the best!

it's that deep violet marketed by Ford as 'Morello'telwick wrote:what colour did you go for?
not really my choice - that's the colour the car happened to be (I bought it from the original purchaser).
My two previous Fiestas were silver.
Not sure we would have gone for the 'squeeze' though!

Evening
I've probably seen loads that colour, but can't tell it apart from black.. Not the best with colours

Cycle-commuting, alas (all you need is a bike and a job!), James. It's a one hour ride (around 20 km) from one suburb to another. Fun it ain't, but it still beats public transport.jam_rs wrote:Welcome, thanks for joining
