Front tyre wear BAD!

We managed 7000 miles on the front tyres of our 2012 fiesta studio 1.25.
Not a tracking or inflation issue..they just wore out! ( 175/70 x14 hankooks)
Is this a record.

Ford don't want to know , supplying dealer says it's normal (!!)
To be honest I won't be buying another ford...the build quality is appalling compared to out previous skoda fabia.

Cant comment on the Hankooks but I've a 2012 econetic on 165/65 14 Michelin EnergySaver tyres and to date they've done 33500 miles and still have a fair bit of tread left. I swapped them diagonally at around 17500 miles. I'm expecting to get over 40k from them.

My understanding is that 175/70's are not a standard size for the Fiesta although that wouldn't account for a high wear rate

I had hankooks on mine v12 evo all be it 17" but they wore out in 6k
