It is very helpfull when other members post guides and information that may be of use too you, however you must remember that the information provided here is often down to a users personal experience, expertise and sometimes oppinion.
As far as im concerned all the guides on here are very good but can i please urge anyone following them or anyone doing any work on any car for that matter, to follow some basic safety precautions.
- Don't work under a car that is only held up by a jack. They are often unstable and are designing for jacking, not supporting. Put some axle stands under the car.
-If spraying or using chemicals, make sure your in a well ventilated area. Certain fumes can cause damage to you if theres not enough ventilation.
-When angle grinding something, use protective glasses and rigger gloves. Angle grinder discs falling apart at 10,000rpm is not pretty. Ive seen it happen.
-Dont bodge it, you may be putting your own and/or other peoples live at risk.
-If your not sure, ask someone that knows better than you!
The information here is to be provided as purely a guide, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss you may cause. However im sure if you use your brain you will be perfectly ok.
Many thanks
