Good quality SMD's
hi all,
just a quick one, ive bought some LED wedge bulbs from ebay recently, intending to install in my footwells & sidelights......ive only done the footwells so far (lack ot fime to whip the headlights out) but after a day, the connection on one of the footwell lights has broken !!
So, seems that the bulbs ive got are tat......what im concerned about now, is that if i install these as sidelights, if the same thing happens its gonna be a right pain to swap them again !!
so - question is, does anyone have any links to places selling good quality LED bulbs ??
......also, has anyone tried one of the H7 dipped beam LED bulbs ? - cant see how they would work as effectively as normal bulbs, but always open to ideas

Hiya, hmmmm I'd love hids, but the installation puts me off a bit......are most kits plug & play (I.e mount the ballast pack, plug it in & fit the bulbs) or is there more to it??

I had to cut a hole in the back of the light. That's about it but there's a grommet that is attached to the cable to make it watertight

Aaah, you mean in the cover on the back of the bulb compartment ? (round cover that twists off)
Hmmm ok & there wasn't any extra wiring etc required?. Where'd you get your from?

Yeah that's the one and from Euro car parts paid again more then cheap eBay ones. No wiring involved just got to plug a spade connector from the bulb into the clip that used run the normal halogen bulbs

Hmmm ok, had a look & they're not that expensive!!.....I presume the euro car parts ones don't generate any errors on the dash? (I'm not even sure if the fiesta has bulb warning lights)
