Wing Mirror
Had my 1.4 TDCI a fortnight now and just noticed the blind-spot mirror is on the passenger side.Is this the same all round or has mine been built in Europe and someone's forgot it's for the UK market? Has anyone else taken their car back to Fords and got it changed? This is a secondhand '09 but was bought from a main dealer.

Re: Wing Mirror
Could get a little blindspot mirror, the type you stick on in corner of the mirror

Have done, but just wondered if it was something that should have been picked up on the P.D.I. Had a Citroen C4 and the wipers were left handed and would cost a fortune to change so could understand, but a mirror!
Re: Wing Mirror
Yea mine is on the left too, although i didnt know it was a blind spot mirror

I find it helps when passing a motorway junction, to see if anyone is coming up the inside to join the motorway etc.

Re: Wing Mirror
This was a topic on the FOC forum last year.
I told the dealer about it when ordering my Sport and lo and behold they got the blindspot mirror on the drivers side. Unfortunately also on the passenger side. Its a bit disconcerting at first but used to it now.
Also told them that I didn't want black spots on the back of my car when the reversing sensors were fitted.
They came colour coded. Spot on. Why couldn't they do it without being prompted, Still see some cars with the black spots.
