Re: Red & Black
I might aswell buy them without tyres then if I can, save myself a load of money. I doubt I'll go budget, but I really like a certain set of tyres, so will pay whatever is necessary for them. Cheers for all the info, you're gonna save me quite a few quid Saw a set of tyreless for like 170 I think so will try get those if they still for sale at end of month
Also, what tyres have you got on? I've read alot of good reviews about the Kumho Esctsa KU39's in the 205/40/17W size, and had alot of recommendations from garages i've rung and asked about them, and looking about £65-£75 a corner which is pretty good value imo! Any suggestions?

Re: Red & Black
Seen this done on here and thought it was quite a good little mod so had a look on ebay and found this for £15
Didnt take long to fit although nearly had a problem, the knifed slipped when I was cutting the headlining and made the hole slightly to big but think I got away with it!
Now im looking for some opinions on this one, i've currently got the projector headlights on my car with uprated bulbs
Thinking of maybe swapping them for the base model units, thought the black internals of these might look good with the red & black theme of the car
Let me know what you think, im still not sure what to do!

I still need to get round to putting in the sunglasses holder, but don't want to cut up the lining I'm scared I've got the reflector lights with the black surround, imo I think they look so much better than the chrome ones, but just get them sprayed instead of buying the reflector lights, prob around same price, and you get to keep the projectors.

I was a bit worried bout cutting it, just measure it a couple of times to make sure you get it right, and do it slowly or u can go off you're line like i did!!Seans_Fes_Mk7 wrote:I still need to get round to putting in the sunglasses holder, but don't want to cut up the lining I'm scared I've got the reflector lights with the black surround, imo I think they look so much better than the chrome ones, but just get them sprayed instead of buying the reflector lights, prob around same price, and you get to keep the projectors.
Ive already got the lights, someone happened to be selling them cheap on ebay when i was looking so i bought them, (£55 for the pair, bargain!). Did think about painting the projector ones but dont know how much hassle it'll be!!

"Measure twice, cut once" is a builders favourite catchphrase
That's a pretty good price tbf, the projector ones look expensiveeeee
Just go to a professional spraying shop, and see what they say, there has been a couple of sprayed ones that went onto ebay a couple months ago.

Re: Red & Black
Could be expensive going to a sprayshop, might just use the reflector ones as ive got them, can always swap them back over, or get them sprayed in the future when ive got more money!

Re: Red & Black
They were up for like £150, which is around the cost of the projector ones anyways, so worth a try maybe.

Re: Red & Black
Had a little delivery yesterday and this arrived
As soon as the rain stopped I managed to get out and fit it, old filter out first and binned
Put the new filter in although I think im gonna change to a pipercross cone filter in a few weeks but the K&N panel filter will do for now
And then all finished off with a Mountune induction hose, there will be more yellow bits under the bonnet in a few weeks!

Just got budget tyres at the moment as thats all I could afford, dont really like them though. Normally I go for BF Goodridge, Avon or Pirelli there all pretty good.Seans_Fes_Mk7 wrote:I might aswell buy them without tyres then if I can, save myself a load of money.
