How-to Retrofit a non-DAB Sony to an early loom car

Have you or anybody else got the reer tweeters working to?

Hi,

Couple of questions:

Are the buttons the only things that don't work? And, while I'm cutting up two cables to connect the Sony stereo, I'd like to immediately attach some cables that I can feed to my subwoofer (by either RCA or simply tapping from the rear speakers). Could anyone tell me which letter/number combo in the pictures in the 1st post I need to attach my cables to?

Mk2 loom made & tested for a member, much tidier than the first monster.

Does this fit work with a 2009 zetec s?

If i was to do this to a 2010 Zetec. Would i still need it coded to the car with ford IDS???

Yes to the 2009 zetec.

No coding is needed to fit this.

has any one modified this to get everything working or is there another version?

can i buy one sonme where instead of making it?
i want to convert my fiesta with a standard head unit to the sony one

Hi Tony k, having a nightmare with my sony head unit, my car wasn't originally dab but I got the dab sony thinking I could just connect my Ariel and it would work. Well it doesnt

any advice
