Re: How-to Retrofit a non-DAB Sony to an early loom car
hi, I apologize in advance for my English.
I would like to know if there is a guide for converting the radio connector single black fiesta 2012, in the two double connectors new fiesta. I hope I have explained well what I intend to do.
thanks for your patience.

Re: How-to Retrofit a non-DAB Sony to an early loom car
Hi to all,
sorry for bringing up an old topic but it gave me hope! , I've been looking for weeks for a post on that matter.
I've read this thread but i feel i'm missing something and have a question or two, hope i'll get a definite answer.. even if it's no, will put my mind at ease.
So you all probably guessed that i want to replace the standard head-unit in my car with the SONY system. The car is fitted with the basic system, without the phone connectivity (7 buttons on the numbers pad) and without the BT connectivity.
So can is be done, and what more info is needed of me?
Thanks!

Re: How-to Retrofit a non-DAB Sony to an early loom car
Hi all,
I've just retro fitted my Sony radio with CD player etc...but haven't managed to get the screen to come on, only works with the standard orange screen. I personally fought it would be a straight swap. Any one know how I can get the updated screen to work ?
Many Thanks

Im not sure, I think your Sony will works well with head unite compatible with screen... you need buy both the same, i think not is compatible buy screen from other head unite (CD read). But try with dealers in Ebay...DarrellQPR wrote:Hi all,

Re: How-to Retrofit a non-DAB Sony to an early loom car
In my 2010 ford Fiesta I had the radio that came with bluetooth and usb (2 big black connectors). I bought a Sony with DAB:
- AA6T-18C815-XG (main)
- BA6T-18B955-FB (Display)
- AA6T-18K811-BB38QA (sony)
but it only comes with one big black connector. I followed the guide and I put it but now I do not work bluetooth and usb. I haven't changed the main, just the screen and sony. Anybody know how to fix it?
