Re: Grealish Panther Black MK7 ZS
Don't let the little rip speed one, is a load of wank..as for the interior plastics, buy...
800 grit paper
1200 grit paper
Primer
Paint
Lacquer
Can all be got from halfords.
Sand off the silver paint using the 800 paper
Wash in a bucket of warm soapy water to remove all of the dust
Dry with a towel and leave on a radiator to dry thoroughly.
Apply your primer, I used about 5 coats.
Leave for a while to dry, use a heat gun/hair dryer to speed up this process, don't use too much primer, apply in very light costs using a side to side motion.
Once dry, sand down very lightly with the 1200 paper.
Wipe down removing any fine dust.
Apply your paint, again, using thin coats of paint to prevent any running. You can again use a heat gun/hair dryer to speed up this process, not on a too high speed as you may cause the paint to run.
Leave to dry after around 4 coats of paint, ensuring all of the areas are covered.
Apply your lacquer until you get the finish you want. I used about 4 or 5 coats
Would recommend leaving around at least half hour between coats of primer, paint and lacquer.
